If anyone gets what you are experiencing, I do. I traversed the deepest depths of long-term, extremely severe chronic illness. Given how severe and long-term the illness was and how I consciously used it as a portal of transformation, I may be one of the most uniquely qualified humans in existence to support you on your own journey of recovery. I always knew that part of the purpose of my own journey was to be able to serve others profoundly once I came out on the side. Now on the other side, I humbly am here to serve you.

Not many humans in the history of the planet have lived through illness as severe as I had, let alone fully recovered. I was on an illness journey for most of my life with symptoms since birth and an extreme version for over 11 years that included over 7 years of being 100% bedridden, with barely any basic body function and in constant suffering. There was a period I prayed for death, as the suffering was that constant and extreme. Much of those years, I could not move, speak, digest food, or use my senses. Diagnoses included severe ME/CFS, Chronic Lyme Complex, Autoimmune Disease, Combined Variable Immunodeficiency, Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome, Hashimotos's Thyroiditis, Mitochondrial dysfunction, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), POTS, Dysautonomia, IBD, Leaky Gut, Mold Illness, every stealth infection imaginable, and more.

I lost my entire life. Time was suspended in suffering and survival, but also a deep process of transformation. Through the process I gained… myself. From the very beginning, I saw the illness as an opportunity to heal and evolve on the deepest level possible. There is no deeper or faster way to awaken and grow, than facing such pain and hardship and being with all that arises in oneself during it. I always knew I would recover and I held that vision year after year. I persevered. I surrendered . I trusted. I kept going, even and especially when I felt I couldn’t any longer. I finally made it to the other side.

I am fully recovered and blissfully living life again. Not only am I physically recovered, but I am transformed in every way.  I healed myself out of the depths to full health, more awake, evolved, and authentically me on the other side.

I have a gift for alchemy. For the actual process of creating products in my other offering: Elaa Skincare. As well as, the alchemy of transformation. “Alkemi” means alchemy in Swedish, Norwegian, and Yoruba. Alchemizing suffering, illness, and pain into radiant evolution and wholeness. The realization of this gift was hard-won.

I tried and tested every healing modality, technique, diet, protocol, therapy, and practice under the sun… for 25 years. The list of things I did to heal is nearly 1000 words long. I needlessly spent about a million dollars over the years for healing. Almost all of what I did made me worse or did nothing. Yet, it did provide me with much experience on what does not work and what does. It took me way too long to crack the code on how to heal Complex Chronic Illness. But, this process of discovery served a purpose. It was so I can save you the lengthy process of discovery, exploration, and money. We can get right to the heart of it and begin healing right away.

I am a Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, specializing in Chronic Illness Recovery. I have a Bachelor’s degree from Brown University, Magna Cum Laude. I also have certifications in areas of personal transformation including Neuro-Linguistic Programming and I have extensive experience with personal growth, healing, health, and spiritual practice.
